The IHSA (Illinois High School Athletics)
season begins in November and runs through February. However, there
is a great deal of spring and summer wrestling that takes place. The
IHSA style of wrestling is Folkstyle. During the spring and summer,
many wrestlers compete in Freestyle and
Greco-Roman competitions.
Did

The Greco-Roman state championships are currently held at Oak Park and
River Forest High School. OPRF hosted this year's event on May 3 and
4.
