Show Your Support

OPRF Wrestling Family

Mission (Purpose):
The OPRF Wrestling Family is an organization of past OPRF Wrestlers and their families; current OPRF wrestlers and their families; current and retired coaches; and of course the fans of OPRF wrestling who work to provide for the support through donations, time and cheering for the OPRF Wrestling Program.

Donate:
In order to provide the wrestling program and its wrestlers with funding to keep them at the top of Illinois High School Wrestling, the OPRF Wrestling Family seeks out funds.  Some funds come from sponsors and fundraisers, but donations are greatly appreciated.  Donations are an integral part of the OPRF Wrestling Family because every dollar is used to maximize the Huskie Wrestling experience.  100% of all the monies collected go toward the OPRF Wrestling Program.  CHECKS are made out to Oak Park Wrestling Family.

Sponsors:
If you wish to become a sponsor for the OPRF Wrestling Family, please contact Niall Collins at coachcollins44@yahoo.com or at (708) 383-6846.  Ads will be published on the internet page and all Dual Meet Programs.  CHECKS are made out to Oak Park Wrestling Family.

Family Affairs (In the News):
Michele Weldon, mother of three OPRF wrestlers (two past and one present), shares her inspirational story as a wrestling mom to the world at the appropriately named website: http://wrestlingmom.net/.  You can view pictures, read blogs, follow Michele's journey and more!  Michele also has a book in the works!

From WrestlingMom.net's "About" section:

I am the mother in the stands dressed in the school colors who has been screaming her three sons' names at shrill, glass-shattering pitch, so loud at times that two years ago some of the junior varsity wrestlers took to imitating my cheers....  I am one of those moms you might hate.  I am Michele Weldon.  I am a Wrestling Mom.
